POSE MOTEUR ; FITTING MOTOR

Alignement du moteur :
Ce fut un peu laborieux, j'ai du reprendre la procédure plusieurs fois, le tourteau ne s'emboitant pas très bien sur le coupleur de l'inverseur même à vide. Mais c'est fait je suis content du résultat, le moteur est fixé solidement sur son support.
Engine alignment :
Not easy, I repete the process, the two coupling flanges didn't mate very well even without the shaft. But now it is done, I am happy with the result, motor is bolted on bearers.

Un joint tournant PSS est mis en place, sans difficultés particulières.

a PSS shaft seal is installed without any problems.

Capot moteur :

Il est construit en CP - époxy cousu-collé.

Motor protection :

build in stitch and glue way.

Le capot moteur terminé, embelli avec des lattes de merbau sur le dessus et sur la marche. Un joint blanc sera posé ultérieurement. 

Il reste à poser les charnières et  un loquet.

I have to add hinges, toogle fastener and white seal.

Le toit est presque terminé, il reste à faire quelques saignées pour intégrer les câbles de l'éclairage, poncer, stratifier avec du tissu de 200g/m2, lisser et reponcer.

The roof is almost done, just to work grooves for lighting cables, then sanding, sheathing with 200g/m2 glass cloth, and sanding again.

Intégration câble éclairage épaisseur 4mm, largeur 8mm(ANCOR 18 AWG , 2x 0,8 mm2) dans une saignée de 6 mm de profondeur et 8 mm de large le toit fait 12mm d'épaisseur.
Les 4 lampes du circuit sont des leds.
Le 2ème câble est pour le feu de navigation tribord.

Fitting cables thickness 4mm, width 8mm (Ancor 2x18 AWG) in a groove depth 6 mm, width 8 mm, roof planking is 12 mm thick.
The 4 lights on the circuit are leds lamps so the cable section is good.
The second cable is for the navigation starboard light.

Mise en place du réservoir d'eaux noires mais problème avec le tuyau de 38 mm qui est trop rigide, je vais essayer d'en trouver un autre plus flexible.
Fitting the black box but I have a problem with the sanitation hose being too rigid, I have to find another one more flexible.

LE TOIT ; THE ROOF

Après un break de 2 mois, les travaux reprennent : j'attaque la structure supportant l'ouverture coulissante et les  renforts de toit;
After a 2 months break, I am back to work : hatch coaming beams and roof stringers.

La hauteur de la protection périphérique de l'ouverture de la descente étant un peu faible, je l'ai augmentée sur les conseils de John de 18mm en collant 1 tasseau de bois clair de 9 mm en haut et 1 en bas de chaque élément, et le résultat est plaisant, merci John;
The height of the hatch coamings was too small, so following John's advice I added 2 clear wood cleats of 9 mm, one at the top and one at the bottom of the original red cedar coaming and the result is pleasant, thank you John.

Les 3 éléments ; l'ouverture est très longue : 144 cm pour 80 cm de large. Cette longueur va nécessiter la confection d'un panneau coulissant en 2 parties, ce sera un nouveau challenge.

The 3 sections ; the opening is very long : 144 cm by 80 cm. This length needs a double hatch, this will be another challenge.
